  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ginger juice (freshly grated and strained)
  • 1 teaspoon gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cup cold water (for blooming gelatin)
  • Ground ginger for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish


  1. Bloom the gelatin in 1/4 cup of cold water. Set aside.
  2. Heat the milk and sugar over medium heat in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat.
  3. Add the bloomed gelatin to the warm milk mixture and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
  4. Stir in the ginger juice.
  5. Pour the mixture into small, elegant bowls. Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until set, about 2-3 hours.
  6. Once set, garnish with a sprinkle of ground ginger and a fresh mint leaf before serving.
